Claritalk and Howest are entering into a strategic partnership within the Accounting Administration graduate program. Students will utilize AI support through Claritalk during advisory and client discussions, enabling them to communicate more efficiently, empathetically, and with a future-oriented perspective.
“This is Howest – Anticipate the future: tomorrow's accountant is both digitally proficient and people-centric,” says Lieset Casier, coordinator of the graduate program. “Accounting is undergoing a significant transformation. While numbers and folders were once central, today it's about digital processing and human interaction. That's why we are firmly committed to a collaboration with Claritalk: their AI assistant helps students better prepare, structure, and follow up on conversations. This way, we transform them not just into proficient accountants, but into true business partners.”
Through Claritalk, students learn how technology supports them without losing the essence of their profession. In a later phase of the project, they will also be able to utilize Claritalk's simulation tool, which allows them to train and improve realistic client conversations in a safe environment.
“Technology should empower people, not replace them,” says Iza, who leads the project within Claritalk. “With this collaboration, we demonstrate how AI not only drives efficiency but also deepens soft skills such as active listening, structuring information, and clear communication.”
