Howest and Claritalk join forces: forward-looking accountants strengthen their conversational skills with AI
Claritalk and Howest are entering into a strategic partnership within the Accounting Administration graduate program. Students will get to work through Claritalk with AI support during advisory and client conversations to learn to communicate more efficiently, empathetically and forward-looking.
"This is Howest - Anticipate the future: the accountant of tomorrow is digitally strong and people-oriented," says Lieset Casier, coordinator of the graduate program. "Accounting is in full transformation. Where previously figures and folders were central, today it is about digital processing and human interaction. That is why we decided to collaborate with Claritalk: their AI assistant helps students better prepare, structure and follow up on conversations. This way we turn them not only into strong accountants, but real business partners."
The students will learn through Claritalk how technology supports them without losing the essence of the profession. In a later phase of the project, they will also be able to use Claritalk's simulation tool, which allows them to train and improve realistic customer conversations in a safe environment.
"Technology should empower people, not replace them," said Iza, who leads the project within Claritalk. "With this collaboration, we show how AI not only provides efficiency, but also deepens soft skills, such as listening, structuring and communicating clearly."
The partnership fits perfectly with Claritalk's mission: to support companies, educational institutions and organizations in their communication strengths.
